Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal has suggested that a major decision regarding the Deputy Chief Minister’s post in Maharashtra could be taken soon. Speaking to the media, Bhujbal said that Sunetra Pawar’s name is being discussed for the position and that a crucial meeting of party legislators has been called to finalize the leadership issue. He also hinted that the oath-taking ceremony could take place as early as tomorrow if consensus is reached.
According to political sources, party leaders are consulting with senior leadership and alliance partners before making the final announcement. Bhujbal stated that the decision would be taken collectively to ensure political stability in the state government during this transition period. The possible appointment of Sunetra Pawar has generated significant buzz in Maharashtra’s political circles, with analysts closely monitoring the outcome of the meeting.
