In a heartbreaking incident that stunned communities in Telangana’s Nalgonda district, a young mother allegedly took the lives of her two children before ending her own life on Monday morning. Police were alerted to the situation at Kondamallepally village after neighbours noticed the home’s front door remained locked and there was no movement inside. On entering, authorities discovered the bodies of seven-year-old Bhavan Sai and nine-year-old Avanthika, along with their mother, who appeared to have died by suicide. Preliminary reports from police suggest that a domestic dispute with her husband may have triggered the distressing sequence of events.
The family had reportedly migrated to Nalgonda from Andhra Pradesh several years ago, with the father employed as a construction labourer. Investigators have taken the bodies for forensic examination and registered a formal inquiry into the tragic case. This incident highlights growing concerns about mental health, familial violence, and the need for improved community support systems in rural areas. Authorities are continuing their investigation to better understand the circumstances leading up to the tragedy.
