Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has welcomed the recent Supreme Court verdict that upheld the Group-1 recruitment process conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC). The apex court dismissed petitions challenging the selection process, effectively clearing the way for the appointment of hundreds of candidates. The Chief Minister described the judgment as a strong endorsement of the government’s commitment to transparency and fairness in public sector hiring.
He noted that the ruling brings long-awaited relief to thousands of aspirants who had spent years preparing under uncertainty. Highlighting the government’s efforts, Reddy stated that the recruitment process was completed swiftly after coming to power, ensuring that deserving candidates received appointment orders without delay. The verdict, he added, not only restores confidence in the system but also enables selected candidates to contribute to the state’s development as part of the new administrative workforce.
