The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has strengthened the city’s water infrastructure by developing a new water distribution station in the Ghatlodia area. With the facility becoming operational, approximately 125,000 residents in nearby localities will receive drinking water with improved pressure and a more reliable supply system.
Officials stated that the new distribution station will help stabilize water flow across residential neighborhoods and reduce problems related to low water pressure during peak hours. The project is part of AMC’s ongoing effort to upgrade the city’s urban utilities and ensure adequate water supply for rapidly growing residential zones in western Ahmedabad.
The upgraded infrastructure is expected to improve the efficiency of water distribution pipelines and ensure consistent delivery of potable water to households. Authorities believe the development will benefit thousands of families in Ghatlodia and surrounding areas while strengthening the overall water management system of Ahmedabad.
