Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is preparing to launch a new four-year undergraduate program that combines management studies with artificial intelligence, marking a major shift in its academic offerings. Traditionally known for postgraduate management education, the institute is expanding into undergraduate education to train future leaders with strong decision-making and technology skills. The program is designed to integrate business knowledge with AI-based applications, aiming to make management education more practical and industry-oriented.
According to officials, students who have completed Class 12 and qualified in JEE Advanced are expected to be eligible for admission to the program. The course structure will include flexible exit options, allowing students to receive a degree after three years or an honours degree after completing the fourth year. The initiative aligns with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and reflects the growing demand for AI-driven management professionals in the global job market.
