A large fire erupted on Thursday at the Mangalya Gowri Saree Showroom located on Road No. 36 in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The blaze began in the early afternoon, sending thick smoke billowing across the commercial building and alarming nearby residents and shopkeepers.
Firefighters from the Hyderabad Fire Department, along with Disaster Response Force teams and local police, were quick to respond to the emergency call. Fire tenders reached the scene and battled the flames for over an hour before bringing the situation under control. Fortunately, all workers inside were evacuated safely and no casualties or injuries were reported. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
The incident caused heavy traffic disruptions in the upscale Jubilee Hills area as traffic was diverted to make way for emergency vehicles. Officials confirmed the building was undergoing renovation work at the time of the blaze, and no major inventory was present inside, which helped avert greater losses.
