A major fire broke out at a firecracker storage facility near Chikhodra village in Gujarat’s Anand district, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and causing panic among nearby residents. The blaze reportedly spread rapidly through the warehouse due to the highly combustible materials stored inside, prompting authorities to immediately deploy multiple fire tenders to the scene.
Emergency response teams worked for several hours to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring structures. Local officials cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure, while an investigation was initiated to determine the cause of the incident. Authorities are also assessing the extent of property damage and verifying whether any casualties or injuries were reported during the operation.
